Custom art on your furniture

For more than 15 years Elizabeth Proctor has been painting artwork and unique finishes on furniture and collectibles that have been brought to her by customers visiting the Limited Edition in Old Town Katy, Texas. Some of these pieces can be viewed here under Painted Furniture while others are best viewed in her portfolio at the Limited Edition.

The subject matter is as diverse as clients tastes and decor; from southwestern to shabby chic, from Victorian to American Folk Art. Often people  bring in color schemes, curtains, wallpaper or pictures from a magazine for to use as a guide while at other times ideas are hatched through face to face discussions. Equally popular and often undertaken together with artwork designs are faux finishes. These finishes vary from crackle to marbling, from sponge to ancient recipes dating from early American colonial times.

If you have a favorite piece of furniture that needs a new lease on life why not take a picture or bring it by the shop and create a new family heirloom!

Not sure how much it will cost?  The following table provides a guide; of course every piece and decoration is unique and we will always be happy to provide a free estimate! There is an additional cost for items requiring stripping.
